Search across your saved AI work
One search across the AI conversations you’ve saved. Find what you discussed, where you discussed it, and bring it back into your current session.
Step 1Open your dashboard
Visit continuevault.com/dashboard. Search lives at the top of the dashboard.
Step 2Type a topic, keyword, or phrase
Search runs across the contents of your saved conversations, not just titles. Try something specific. For example:
Postgres performance tuning
That query pulls back every conversation where you discussed Postgres performance — the ChatGPT thread where you debugged a slow query, the Claude thread where you brainstormed indexing strategies, the Gemini thread where you asked about EXPLAIN output. All in one results list.
Step 3See results across every source
Results appear as a ranked list. Each result shows the source AI’s platform icon, the session title, a snippet of the matching passage with context, the date, and a relevance score. Use the platform filter pills above the results to narrow to a specific AI, or leave it on “All” to see how a topic appeared across your saved AI work at once.
Step 4Open or continue any thread
Click any result to see the full conversation. From there:
- Read it again to remember what you decided
- Rename the thread if it’s worth continuing — see Continue a specific thread
- Use the result to decide which thread to rename and continue
Tips
- Use the platform filter pills above the results to narrow to a specific AI
- Filter by date range (last 7 days, last 30 days, or all time) if you remember roughly when you discussed it
- Switch the sort between Relevance, Newest, and Oldest depending on whether you want the best match or the most recent one
- Advanced search commands — use explicit search tools for more control. See MCP commands
Search is how you find conversations you forgot you had — and how you decide which threads are worth naming for supported continuation workflows.
